Development and Assessment of a Cascaded PCM Latent Heat Thermal Energy Storage (LHTES) Unit for Solar Crop Drying
Kabasa Mary Sally
Context
Uganda’s agriculture sector is highly dependent on solar drying, but inefficiencies limit productivity. Aligning with Uganda Vision 2040 and NDP III, this project supports sustainable energy use, reduces reliance on non-renewable sources, and contributes to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 1 (No Poverty), and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger).
